After teaching the children at the private school about Sound Healing, the children arrived for a ESSL workshop with me. When they saw the sound tools and headed straight for them. 

Of course, I threw the lesson plan that I had prepared out of the window as it was clear to me that something altogether new and rather stunning was occurring. 

The only boy amongst the group of five girls asked if he could walk around in a circle with the largest sound bowl. When I said ‘Yes, of course’ and all the children followed suit. It was quite remarkable and I was left sitting in the centre of a circle of young people now giving me a sound session!

I gave directions as they proceeded to take turns to sit in the middle and I simply joined in with them. 

I guiding them as to how soft to strike my bowls, the triangle or the xylophone (both of which belong to the school) and I even played new instruments with glee. 

It was heart-warming that they had taken such an interest. 

Eventually, it turned into more of a music lesson.

 We sang 2 songs that we’d been learning with accompaniment. 

Everything happened quite unexpectedly & they are sometimes some of the best lessons. 

I wonder what the next lessons will bring at the school and the workshops, 

if it’s anything like that, it’s will be fun!
